Safety Film

Safety Film (or Glass Protection Film, GPF) is a thin, transparent or tinted layer applied to glass surfaces to enhance their strength and reduce the risk of injury in case the glass breaks.

Purpose of Safety Film:

  1. Prevent Shattering: When applied to glass, the film holds broken shards together, reducing the risk of injury.
  2. Security Enhancement: Makes it harder for intruders to break through windows or doors.
  3. UV Protection: Many safety films block UV rays, protecting interiors from sun damage.
  4. Energy Efficiency: Some films reduce heat transfer, helping to maintain indoor temperatures.

Types of Safety Film

  1. Clear Safety Film: Retains the original appearance of the glass while providing added protection.
  2. Tinted Safety Film: Offers protection along with privacy and glare reduction
  3. Decorative Safety Film: Combines aesthetics and safety, available in frosted or patterned designs.
  4. Anti-Graffiti Film: Protects glass surfaces from vandalism, scratches, or etching.
